In Search of Loafer from Italy
I have a few pairs of Ferragamo Tramezza and always find Ferragamo in general to be about 1 width small. My shoes are EE which I think is more like a E. Which era is this vintage Brooks Brothers label from?
Yes that's the union label. You can narrow down an age range based on that label. Googling some of the words on the label there should lead to some sites with guides. Which era is this vintage Brooks Brothers label from?
I have a made to order suit dated 1964 with that label. I think this label was also used earlier than that. If you have the garment in hand and can check the pockets for a union label that may help.- Mr G from SD

Advice please: mould on leather shoe soles
I had this happen to a few pairs during current times when many of us are wearing dress shoes less often. I used a Clorox wipe to gently wipe it away, not applying too much pressure in case it may remove the edge dressing color, etc. and being careful not to touch the uppers with the wipe. Can you tell if these are Goodyear or Blake Rapid Stitched?
My understanding has always been Tramezza = Goodyear, Lavorazione Originale = Blake but maybe it is not safe to make that broad statement. In the few pairs I have, that does hold true.
