I have a couple of questions: Budget, does that include shirt, shoes, tie, waist covering, etc? What time of day? Actual venue? If you'll be outside, you'll want a partial lined jacket. Personally, I went MTM and I'd advise the same. However, SuitSupply would be my choice from your options.- Simplex

One thing I love which seems baller, but is actually really affordable is taking the water taxi from the mag mile to Chinatown for dim sum / exploring Chinatown then taking the boat back. Dim sum is cheap, good and fills you up. Expect to pay $10 per person.- Simplex

Help! Suit sleeve problems
I think the best option is to add a button at the bottom. Another option is to have your tailor take a small section of that fabric from somewhere and cover the button hole, then move the button down.- Simplex

If you want to stick to a fabric you'd use more often, I'd either say cotton (non-seersucker and also assuming whipcord is out too) or summer weight wool/wool blends with an open weave fabric. To maximize the use, a khaki suit can be broken up so you can wear each on their own. Just the...- Simplex

New Neckwear startups -- are they legit?
I bought a couple of ties from General Knot. I love the fabrics and design combinations they use on their ties. First suit purchase please read
You can try suitsupply (starting $439), they have several different cuts to suit your needs. They also have the MTM program, starting with the Blue line ($599 and up) which feels more like MTO with your choice of fabrics. Yes. Your only options new OTR are H&M, Uniqlo, Zara, Topman, and maybe a few other fast fashion stores. For quality, all of those places will be mediocre at best and should not be considered longer than the near future (also they're more trendy and will look out of date). $200-300 on a suit...- Simplex

Where to buy?
First, we need to know your budget. Second, it's going to be hard to find a suit that fits you nicely OTR from the brief description of yourself (tall and very skinny). Narrow shoulders
Having a tailor shorten the shoulders is just not worth it. It looks like your only options are: 1. Find a brand/designer/clothing line that makes narrow shoulders. 2. MTM. 3. Go to the gym and start working out your shoulders. I don't know what else you can do.- Simplex
