    I similarly have many pairs. Maybe 10+ at this point. Most have never really had issues. My criticism comes to how Carmina handles the few that do. If I'm being fair I give Carmina much less slack here than Meermin. I expect Meermins to have some minor issues and that you are on your own. But...

    It depends, no? If after months a manufacturing issue was revealed, then I would expect it to be remedied by the manufacturer. e.g. if an overly thin sole was applied to my shoe and I didn't notice for a while, I would expect Carmina to replace it. Or if the Lama leather that those shoes...

    I have to agree with this. I think people generally understand that EU brands are less customer service focused than US brands. The never admitting fault and offering fair solutions (even if they require the customer contributing) is a bit patronizing.

    I really like my Meccariello's. Carmina is a bit more convenient if there is a GMTO or MTO I really want and don't have the available budget to go to Antonio. The gap has been closing with their US pricing, so combined with the CS experience, the niche is slipping away a bit for me.

    Carmina is basically telling me to pound sand and that the manufacturer isn't responsible which is disappointing at this price point. I'm probably cancelling some outstanding orders with them. Ah well, makes it a bit easier to save money at least.

    I took this picture for Carmina as well to show how the thinner sole had led to me wearing the toe faster on the left. They do look generally centered the same to me.

    I said this a bit strangely but their is their Tramuntana sole from the factory. But yes I have other Carminas with the same sole. None have this difference. I'll take a picture later.

    This is in line with my experience wearing Carminas in NYC. I have had the lugged soles wear out frustratingly quickly. I have an older pair of kudu Carminas where strangely the commando top on one is thinner than the other and has worn through at the toe tips. Never have worn through a victory...

    Carmina friends, any chance you'd consider waving the MTO fee on a second pair that people order along with this GMTO? I've long wanted a pair of your chelsea boots in navy hatch grain and it would impact my color choice here.

    Bought these as I loved how they looked, how comfortable and how light they were for a full sized boot but only ended up wearing them once. Now moving into a smaller apartment and I want to free up some space. Note that this color is no longer available from AE without a special order.
