really? I loved the peak lapels. the flair was definitely what sold me. that said, I didn't buy this suit for professional occasions. I'll post pics here someday, hopefully sooner than later. problems with that are threefold though. 1) my camera has no remote, 2) my wife has done a terrible job...- withstyle

late reply to this thread... I bought a Tom Ford suit over the weekend at the boutique in las vegas. It is a solid charcoal gray, 3-piece, peak lapels, etc. Made in Switzerland (obviously Zegna). The shoe repair shop creased my pair of cordovan chukkas...
since reading this thread and posting last night, I may have gained some new insight into the matter... I am wearing my RL Gifford shell chukkas today and they have creases on the side similar (although not as deep) as the one on the OPs pair. that crease does look bad... you should at least take them back and tell them they need to do everything they can to repair/disguise it for you. if you need a new cobbler, try Beehive Shoeworks at wells and washington. been going there for years and they are A+. and the woman who runs it LOVES...- withstyle

Oxxford = far superior construction and more "bang for your buck", especially at that price You can judge which fits better based on the model. My experience is that Oxxford fits/cuts don't tend to be the most flattering.- withstyle
