    Corneliani brown wool/cashgora overcoat EU54R

Selling a very nice Corneliani overcoat in NWT condition. The coat is made from brown herringbone Wool/Angora/Cashgora fabric and with a very nice feel to it - if this was my size I wouldn't just wear it outside, I'd sleep in it ;-) As always with Corneliani, the quality and craftsmanship is...

    Aquascutum raincoat 42R

FS is a NWT Aquascutum Raincoat. This is the "Kenyon" model in beige with Aquascutum house check lining and under the collar. Made in England. Tagged as a 42R, which should be about right. Measurements are as follows: Shoulders across back: 18.75"-19" Chest (pit-to-pit): 22.5" Length (BOC)...

Last chance! Crockett and Jones for Peal &Co Brooks Brothers Shell Cordovan Boot 9D

They should be on the 240 last which (nearly) all C&J Peals use. /U.

Heavy country brogue - which one?

Any reason you are not looking at Trickers? I have a pair of Ilkleys and if there is one word I'll never use to describe them it is definitely "flimsy", they are very sturdy shoes. If the commando soles are not your cup of tea, there are a few similar models with leather or dainite instead - I...

    Milan suggestions

There's an Etro outlet in central milan (Via Spartaco 3). Selection can be a bit on/off but if you are in the area it is definitely worth a visit. /U.

IME, the Burberry outlet is usually worth a (quick) visit though the selection is hit and miss. /U.

How do you guys find out your measurments>

I have measured some of my own clothes that I think fit well. That gives me a range of measurements for e.g. sport coats that I think work well for me. Based on this, I also got a bit wiser as to why I prefer the look of certain suits/jackets over others - the differences in measurements explain...

Better for loafers to fit too tight in the toes or for the heel to slip too much?

No no, just buy a different model that actually fits If you really want these, buy the small size and see if a few wearings will stretch the problem areas enough to make them fit well. /U.

    50 Book Challenge

Slightly related question: How fast do you guys read? (in sort of an "average pages/hour" unit of measure, i.e. if you look at a book, how do you determine how long it will take you to read it?) /U.

EU VAT exemption when sending to non-EU country

I believe Sellers are allowed to deduct VAT but not required to. I would imagine they have to be able to prove to the Tax authorities that the goods were indeed exported, which is why some may be reluctant to deduct the VAT. /U.

What the top brass in swedish cars are wearing

Apparently Swedes are weird about displays of wealth. A very commonplace attitude in Scandinavia in general (for historical reasons). /U.

    Sartoria Partenopea quality and heads-up

Tried on some SP odd jackets in some outlets in/near Milan a few months ago. Quality and cut seemed very good, unfortunately they were only available in Regular sizes and not the Long I need, so I didn't buy anything. /U.
