Randolph Engineering as an (cheaper) alternative to Rayban's aviators. Having handled both (and bought the randolphs) I can vouch for the serious quality of these glasses. RE and AO aviators are definitely very good plus that extra something about them that they are used by the airforce and...- ualman

Best and Worst Customer Service Experiences?
Never had any really bad service anywhere, but the best service I've had is in the Allen Edmonds store in San Francisco. Very friendly and helpful staff. Soory for double posting- ualman

G-1 Bomber - Extra Pockets?
Original navy G-1's don't have side openings for the hands, only the top openings. Not sure if Cooper made/makes them for the navy, but their jackets for the regular customer has them. If you want the real navy ones you can get those at very decent prices on ebay, even the goat skin ones who are...- ualman

Given the source for this material, and the decline in elephant populations, I think you should be looking for other options. There is a reason there is a global ban on ivory trade. Something to think about. Hear, Hear. totally agree with that.- ualman

Help needed, shoe polishing question
Not that I'm an expert here, but you could try to give the whole shoe a lighter colour after getting all the wax of. I think there's a way of doing that on the St. Crispin site, under shoe care. Do you spend more time/money shopping for clothes than your GF/Wife/SO & get grief?
It helps that I do a lot of shopping on eBay so it doesn't show as much. Plus my girlfriend doesn't get to see the packages that get delivered. Lol, I soooo know what youre saying!- ualman

Heard good things about Grenson, and with the prices at ebay you pretty much can't go wrong. But it would help if you could try them on first, or if you have tried another brand, find out here, if possible, how their fit compare to Grenson. Seems with Grenson you will have a good shoe.
