The Watch Appreciation Thread - Part two (Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Jaeger LeCoultre,

I generally dress more casual so it works fine for me. Also have a 7.3” wrist so it honestly doesn’t wear that big on me. I’m really enjoying it. If I need anything smaller I can always put on my aqua terra or two tone sub. But after having both the sub and the sea dweller I think I actually...

The Watch Appreciation Thread - Part two (Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Jaeger LeCoultre,

I understand your point. But I want to clear something up they told me. They said when I asked about wait lists that they aren’t allowed to have a list. Which of course I assumed could be bs. But the sales associate I talked to first told me she’d give me her card, and to call once a week to...

The Watch Appreciation Thread - Part two (Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Jaeger LeCoultre,

There was a nice young lady I was speaking to showing me a couple DJ41s when I first walked in before he walked up. Hopefully she got commission for the sale. I think she did because her name was on the invoice.

No. haha I had to leave and go wire the money to them. And when I went back the owner was gone, but two managers were there helping me check out. And they were mind blown he sold it to me like that. One said he's had people waiting on it for two years. He for sure gained a customer for life though.

The Watch Appreciation Thread - Part two (Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Jaeger LeCoultre,

Went into an AD today just to look around. Nothing was really in the case that interested me. The owner walked up and we spoke for like 2 minutes and he said he'd be right back. And he brought out this bad boy I picked up! Pics I thought there was a zero percent chance I just walk into an...

The Watch Appreciation Thread - Part two (Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Jaeger LeCoultre,

I didn't even attempt it myself. Just took it down to the local jewelers and paid $14 to have him put it on. He seemed to have no issues with it though.

Thanks. The strap is from RubberB. Really tones down the watch, and makes it look a bit more casual and sportier.

Appreciate that. Just looked thru your selection, and you have a lot of nice straps. Do you think the Tan Pebble color most closely resembles the one above?

That strap I linked adds on an extra $445 for the buckle..so you're spending over $800 basically. idk what's up with that listing haha. The Hodinkee would have to be the way to go.

My two watch collection right now. Would love a JLC for a watch with a leather strap, and would love a BLNR eventually.

I dress mostly casual and business casual so the Indys are probably more my typical style. Comfort wise it’s not even close. Indys all the way. First time I wore the Daltons I had blisters. I can tell that won’t be an issue with the Indys. I do like the Daltons though. A little more dressy for...

THE OFFICIAL ALDEN THREAD FOR 2020 - SHARE REVIEWS, SIZING, ADVICE, AND PHOTOS.

I just started looking more into fashion and overhauling my boot and wardrobe game about 2 months ago. Before that I wouldn’t have been able to tell you what a Goodyear welted shoe was. Haha First I bought the Daltons thinking I’d be good on boots, and not even 2 days later someone showed me the...
