I actually haven't done that with any of my shoes but I am considering it for my next pairs. I'd recommend B. Nelson on 55th between Lexington and 3rd for your taps. I use them for resoling and they've done an excellent job. On a side note, does anyone own the C&J Wembleys? If so, thoughts?- Sixth_Sense

I debated that too -- ultimately went with the brown calf double monks....absolutely LOVE them Plan is to order a pair of Weymouths next week and then take a break from shoes until the summer -- that's the plan at least...:embar: Maybe the Merton Suedes and a pair of Velvet slippers for...- Sixth_Sense
