I need some sizing advice please! I find it really funny on this last page I see talk of crockett shoes in trickers thread, as this is my current go to! I recognize the US to UK size drop varies a lot from MFG to MFG. Green is usually a half drop, Crockett is usually a full or even a 1.5 drop...- Patek14

Question on lasts - the 337 vs. the 236 for Oxfords. I wear a 6.5E UK on the 337. It fits well, good fit on the instep and well proportioned in the toe box. As a comparison on my feet, on the 348 for a 6.5E UK, the toe box feels a bit too compressed and i dont like it. The instep on 348 is OK...- Patek14

So first off, Loake only banned UK retailers from selling internet orders to us in order to help the domestic supply base. At full MSRP, Loake 1880 is about $340. Black captoe oxfords are generally good with most business attires. Suit and tie, suit no tie, sportcoat, slacks/shirt only.
