Correct, but my cobbler has done a few custom jobs for me and may have a good idea of cost for soles, materials, quality level, and so forth. The issue is finding transparency in costs.- oconnellda

Thanks for the input. After I created a portfolio, I contacted the leather manufacturers to get a cost estimate and displayed a design from my portfolio in the communication.
