Wythe Official Thread - this ain't your meemaw's yeehaw

I hope this isn't too weird but if you haven't packed them up already, would you be kind enough to grab measurements from that pair? I gather the waist is around 34 inches in reality, but if you'd measure the rise, thigh, and leg opening, I'd be very thankful. Either way, congrats on the sale!

Some very cool big pants in the thread, it's inspiring.

Wythe Official Thread - this ain't your meemaw's yeehaw

I ended up getting a popover, in the awning stripe pattern. I’ve been wanting a popover and a summer-weight long sleeve shirt; this ticks both boxes. The fabric is quite light, so it should serve well in a Pacific Northwest summer. It’s quite roomy, even as someone looking for an easy fit. I...

Phones are so big now that we might need bring back belt holsters, which isn't really related to ports/cables but it's as close as I can get

I deleted the app a while back. The filter function stopped working, and this was true on two phones. Never figured out if it was just me or a known bug.

In general, the comments here indicate that the measurements at No Man Walks Alone are likely more accurate than those at Wythe’s site—correct? I’m looking at the cotton/linen popovers, and I am often between a small and a medium.

    Workwear, Americana and Raw Denim

I’m currently wearing the Bronsons. I don’t (yet?) have any fancy Japanese repros for comparison, but they seem pretty good to me. Heavy fabric, starts out stiff. It wrinkles easily but a hot steam iron will do the trick if you want. The cut is nice and full. The 1942 chinos have a slightly...

    SWD Discussion Thread for Tailoring

Hell yea public defenders I have little to add but I like this thread. I do have a corduroy Uniqlo U suit that I bought near the start of the pandemic and...have never had the chance to visit the tailor's for, with the obvious explanation. I get the idea of the imperfect fit in this context...

Heschung Thuya VS Paraboot Michael - the ultimate shoedown for some ugly shoes (sizing, style, etc).

Bookcore got me thinking about Tyroleans. I have narrow feet—am I out of luck with Paraboots? Or the style in general? I can’t find anywhere that sells them around me, and the Paraboot site’s stockist list seems out of date.
