Lightweight summer trousers
Linen, if there is no need for the formality of wool. Fresco wool, if formality is needed. Cotton twill only if atmospheric conditions are not very warm or muggy. The fact that cotton is poor at keeping you warm in winter does not mean that it is good at keeping you cool in summer. It depends...- Miles R.

Thanks. I'm glad to hear from somebody! I can send the shoe back to the seller from whom I bought it (the Shoe Mart) and get a replacement in a narrower size sent to me. Does the Aberdeen last run wide? It's funny that Alden, or whoever is the source of such information, says that it fits true...- Miles R.

Popovers?
I got one from Pini Parma. I'm okay with the look, but the shirt is a pain to pull on and off. The alternative is to have one cut full enough to go over your head and shoulders easily, but then you're wearing a baggy shirt, which is not a look that I like.- Miles R.
