Beatle boots
I recently purchased a pair from TUK Shoes - their pointy Winklepicker Beatle Boot. I wanted a pointy boot with a medium to high heel. I looked at Beatwear and Atom Retro, as well as some punk/goth styles. My new boots are just marvelous, though the heel is only 1 1/4" and the boots...- mbloom

LV shoes: care to comment?
I've had LV's Cycliste Goodyear constructed boots in cognac for 4 years that I just love. Paid a lot for them, though: $905 + $180 for trees.- mbloom

Louis Vuitton Shoes
I've had a pair of LV Cyclist boots for 3 or 4 years now. They're just gorgeous to look at: a lace-up ankle boot with a buckle over the front top of the boot. Sutor Mantellassi Boots on eBay
Unfortunately, I don't have a digital camera readily available. The boots' color is called Antique Graphite. I'd describe the color as a medium/dark grey, not quite as dark as a graphite pencil, but lighter in some spots. They might actually be scuff marks, but I'm afraid to try to polish them...- mbloom

Sutor Mantellassi Boots on eBay
I bought a pair of these boots from Lance last year in antique graphite for $315. They are extremely comfortable and a bit narrow (which I like). They're listed as an 8.5 (Euro?) and fit my narrow/medium 9.5 US feet very nicely. I get compliments on them all the time.- mbloom

Thanks for the info on winklepickers, Ready Steady Go, and the modculture site. I'd love to see a Ready Steady Go clip that shows the lads in their suits and boots; don't know if this is on modculture or not. All I've seen so far are stills from several UK shows.
