trees for very pointy beatle boots

I recently bought a pair of winklepicker (very pointy) beatle boots. Can anyone recommend a suitable boot tree or shoe tree for very pointy boots?

    Beatle boots

I recently purchased a pair from TUK Shoes - their pointy Winklepicker Beatle Boot. I wanted a pointy boot with a medium to high heel. I looked at Beatwear and Atom Retro, as well as some punk/goth styles. My new boots are just marvelous, though the heel is only 1 1/4" and the boots...

    LV shoes: care to comment?

I've had LV's Cycliste Goodyear constructed boots in cognac for 4 years that I just love. Paid a lot for them, though: $905 + $180 for trees.

    Louis Vuitton Shoes

I've had a pair of LV Cyclist boots for 3 or 4 years now. They're just gorgeous to look at: a lace-up ankle boot with a buckle over the front top of the boot. Very sleek and a little snug in a cognac color. I paid $905 + $180 for equally sleek and smooth wooden shoe trees. I think it was a...

What do you make of this boot by Sutor?

I like it because it IS different!

    Sutor Mantellassi Boots on eBay

Unfortunately, I don't have a digital camera readily available. The boots' color is called Antique Graphite. I'd describe the color as a medium/dark grey, not quite as dark as a graphite pencil, but lighter in some spots. They might actually be scuff marks, but I'm afraid to try to polish them...

    Sutor Mantellassi Boots on eBay

I bought a pair of these boots from Lance last year in antique graphite for $315. They are extremely comfortable and a bit narrow (which I like). They're listed as an 8.5 (Euro?) and fit my narrow/medium 9.5 US feet very nicely. I get compliments on them all the time.

Help me get a pick a pair Jodphurs boot

Are these the higher end handgrades? There seems to be much debate about this with these boots. I don't know if these are the higher end handgrades; how do you tell?

Help me get a pick a pair Jodphurs boot

I got these boots from Lance last year in Antique Graphite. They are totally cool looking, feel very comfortable, and I get fantastic comments about them. I'm sure you'll love them, too!

Ankle Boot Appreciation! Here are mine, show me some of yours?

I love all types of boots, but my collection has recently focused on sleek ankle boots [pics when I get my digital camera working...). I have black Ferragamo rounded toe lace-ups, Louis Vuitton Cycliste boots (a low version of the Asprey City boots: cognac tapered wholcut laceups with a buckle...

Sutor Boots - Q's re fit and what to wear

I have just purchased a pair of Sutor Mantellassi ankle buckle boots (jodphur style?) in antique graphite, size 9.5, from VirtualClothesHorse. They are extremely comfortable with more than enough room for my narrow/medium feet. They are very sleek, and IMHO, just gorgeous. Only downside, slight...

Thanks for the pics, especially all of the boots. I love those Weston's; now, where/how to get them?

    boots from the 60s

Thanks for the info on winklepickers, Ready Steady Go, and the modculture site. I'd love to see a Ready Steady Go clip that shows the lads in their suits and boots; don't know if this is on modculture or not. All I've seen so far are stills from several UK shows. A lace up chelsea boot? I'd like...

    boots from the 60s

I don't know if this is the right forum for this or not, but does anyone know the name of 1965-era lace-up shoes or ankle-height boots that were pointy, black, shiny, and possibly with a cuban heel? I've seen the term winkle picker, but the pictures I've seen of them don't resemble the shoes I...

Sleek lace-up boots in Bill Blass ad

Can anyone identify who made (makes?) these boots, or boots like them, and where to get them? These boots were featured in 2 full-page Bill Blass photo ads in the March 2003 GQ. Â The ads showed how a Bill Blass suit could be worn with the suit jacket and tie, or with a sweater, and the same...
