    JM Weston appreciation thread

Gents, I think the sizing is sort of figured out except for the heel slip. It seems that ankle area isn't deep which results into this. The other question however, still stands- what's your experience with JMW cap toes? Look like they are bit less formal than EG Chelsea or Cleveleys which is...

    JM Weston appreciation thread

Hi, I'm quite interested in buying JM Weston cap toe Oxford 300 model. The simplicity of it is quite appealing and perhaps makes them more versatile. The other options in my mind are George Cleverly Charles and EG Chelsea. My priorities when buying shoes are- leather & build quality, ability...

Vass Norweger Antique Cognac Calf P Last EU 40

I am interested in this. I have a vass shoe that's 40 BP with custom modifications- extra space in front part to accommodate my wider than normal foot. Given this would P be a good fit for me?

Offical TRICKERS shoes and boots thread

That's very helpful. I did look up the rambler sole and yes they are from 70s as you had mentioned. I am quite inclined to order the Bourton's in this sole. Do you know how it compares to Commando/Danite/Vibram in terms of weight and traction? I'm wondering if it's wise to go for Rambler sole...

Offical TRICKERS shoes and boots thread

Thanks for the prompt feedback. I have never seen this sole before so was curious. Previously I had by mistake purchased one with rubber sole that didn't have midsole and it's certainly not as comfortable as the traditional ones.

Offical TRICKERS shoes and boots thread

Hello, I am looking over at Bourton shoes at Outlet site and there are some that has "Brown Rubber sole". Does someone know what this is? Is this also like the design where the mid sole is removed...

The Ultimate Vass (Footwear) Thread (Pictures, reviews, sizing, etc...)

I see that option now. Thanks for the suggestion. Though I wonder how how big the difference is between 40 BP and 40 BP in G given that it's already pretty wide. On a different note, do you have experience with P2 last and how it compares with BP? For that might be an option too.

The Ultimate Vass (Footwear) Thread (Pictures, reviews, sizing, etc...)

Thanks Shawl for the response. If it was usual heel slip then I'd have been less concerned but here my heel is lifting up as I walk and my feeling is that the shoe is slightly larger. To confirm that, I tried them on socks of medium thickness and a slighted cushioned ones as well. In the medium...

The Ultimate Vass (Footwear) Thread (Pictures, reviews, sizing, etc...)

No, I didn't see G width on Vass website (at least for the model I bought). Perhaps they don't have G width but have different lasts that fit different type of feet.

The Ultimate Vass (Footwear) Thread (Pictures, reviews, sizing, etc...)

Received my first Vass shoe and quite likely my best shoe today. I have heavily relied on this forum in making up my mind on Vass and specifically on Budapesters! So thank you very much for all the comments, pictures and suggestions from experienced shoe/Vass lovers here! Unsurprisingly, I had...

New Tricker's Daniel UK 7 Vibram sole

Model- Daniel in Black UK 7 These are new shoes that have been worn sparsely. I have a wide foot and they are two narrow for me. Have worn them about 3 times thinking the leather will adjust but didn't work out for me. The best part of the shoe is that its a classic style can be dressed up or...
