Should shirt cuffs be snug or loose?
In my experience, it's better to have a cuff that's a little looser than one that is too tight. So that's why I always make sure it's a little on the wide side. If your sleeves are a tad too long you can always shorten them, if the cuffs are too loose you can change the button stance but you...- L.deJong

Standeven Heritage twist is also possible it's a bit heavier at 395gms/14oz but a true workhorse, I have chosen this charcoal twill: And inspired by a suit made by prologue, it's grey but with some blue in it that makes for an interesting if a bit loud cloth:- L.deJong

I have something similar from Orazio Luciano. Works perfectly with a blue shirt and cream trousers. I even wear it with blue trousers to match the blue overcheck. Today: Amouage overture man. I heard rumours that it will be bought by L'oreal I hope that that is a april joke. Smells very much like booze and I like it a lot, also some nice warmth from sandelwood and leather, plus a nice smoke/incense.- L.deJong

True, but I went back to belts for casual trousers that I also wear without jackets. I had a couple of moleskin trousers made, high-waisted for suspenders and I do not wear those as much because I do not like to wear suspenders uncovered. And probably also weight. I have an overcoat made from Harris tweed from the '60-'70's and it's much heavier. Also a little denser woven (but could also be because I compare a plain with a herringbone weave) and all in all feels beefier. But both bag a little at the elbow and both are spongy...- L.deJong

Brisbane makes a lot of cords for instance HFW is also made by Brisbane, right? Maybe you can ask Huntsman? Most RTW-lines have a couple of numbers in the inside denoting which cloth etc. was used. But Huntsman probably doesn't have that. Best bet would be Brisbane Moss.- L.deJong
