I think I figured out what is irking me about the fit on these...it's the extra leather above the top of my foot. When I eventually come to resole my RMW boots; could I have the Comfort Craftsman soles replaced with screwed leather soles? Just a thought. Lear I wouldn't think so, because the upper has the edge cut for a goodyear welt, which would defeat the purpose for a brass screwed sole.- Inf
