Can anyone tell me where to get Alden brown boot laces? Not waxed. I just want the regular ones that come with the boots. TSM only lists the black ones on their website.- htimsdj

where are you wearing out the soles? Toes? Ball of foot? I wear mine out at the toes and heels, so I’ll do toe taps and new top lifts to extend the life. For ball of foot wear, you could add sole protectors. I didn’t like them at first, but got used to them.- htimsdj

I am in agreement with you. I wear the unlined at TTS, but surprisingly I wear the lined 986 af a half size down. Seems like many others do the opposite.- htimsdj

double leather sole! Not very flexible. If I break them in on the sidewalk, they will wear at the tip quite a bit. It’s low pile office carpet that is not slick. At home, I would slip.- htimsdj
