    The Official RRL Thread

I have have seen the black one in store. it's absolutely beautiful, very delicate and less rugged than it looks on the pic (it looks probably more rugged on the brown version also). i am not into conchos belts, but i would love to have this one if the price was a bit decent. it's made by a...

In France, - since september, i spent more than 2,5K on french website on the last collection and don't have received any email about private sales. - since september, i spent 0 euros in store (but i usually buy a lot) and SA from St Germain offered me 20% (and some nice gifts) on RRL and PL...

Found a nice made in USA vintage Pendelton (maybe 1965-70 according to the label) pure wool "Fireside shirt" for... 5 euros. Cleaned it and bought new buttons for 4 euros, Tried to handmade some repairs with RRL jeans and corduroy parts during 2 hours. And now i picture the same shirt...

in Europe, RRL "made in italy" jackets (yes, made by caruso) have other tags. For made in china or more recent made in india RRL jackets, this is this kind of tag (and no inside pocket tag) : just saying. I am not expert enough to tell if your jacket is fake or not.

Just received (and sent back) the cashmere olive shawl cardigan. Everything is wrong with it : too short, too thin and i had to check twice if it was really a 100% cashmere : it has absolutely no luxurious feeling at all. Plus the collar is different from the older version (it's more "round")...

It's corduroy, so it will stretch more than jeans, especially in waist. You should wait before making any alterations. I wash all my RRL corduroy in washing machine, like any other casual trousers (30/40 is ok). No dryer, never. They are nice.

Ralph Lauren lines, and 'who makes what' - a definitive guide

    1) I own three pair of RL boat shoes « made in Maine, USA » (and 2 pairs of Rancourt shoes, made in Maine, USA) : inside stamping is the same, construction is the same, sizing is the same. They were before sold under « Ralph Lauren » line, not Polo. Have a look on the Rancourt website for...

yes, we should wait for one more drop (end of October, but many products are already on the european website or the lookbook, like what's on these pics). No wool pea coat (but a very expensive one in leather) . that should be something close to the holiday theme.

Just received this plaid fleece jacket Nice fabrics with wool. It’s a very versatile item in my opinion. It matches with almost all my RRL closet. Fit is a bit boxy. I wear a S (for 178 cm and 66kg)

Another IRL pic VS website (quite close this time...well...almost.) I have just received this chunky cardigan. Really beautiful IRL, nice mix of yarns colors, quite heavy, rugged. I wear a small (same sizing than the cashmere cardigan). i think this kind of knitting will stretch a bit (mix of...

I prefer the dark brown one (but 2800 euros for a made in India leather, i'll pass). On the website, it looks fabulous. IRL pics are welcome. There is always a very big difference between RRL leather IRL and on website. I am always disappointed when i see RRL leather IRL.

RLPL jeans are now between 700 and 950 for the exact same models... They even forgot to delete the old page for one model, then you can choose if you prefer the old (395) or the new price (690). They kill PL and that's sad. Not a single historic client will be ok to pay 80% more for the exact...

same story here. you didn't screw up. Mine is a rigid chino officer from 2014, first wash 2 or 3 years after (yeah i know), and i also have those too...I don't like that very much, and i have no explanation...they are impossible to remove but the more you wash, the more it melts into the fabric...
