Who is the sifu that made the coat? Also, where do you usually get your vintage fabrics? I saw on the news that Yen Chow is closing at the end of the month, but I presume they only sell random bits of cotton and polyester?- dygital

I'm not the most experienced in this, but I have a few pairs of pants in Fresco or Drapers 4 ply and haven't noticed any real problems in the 2 years I've owned them. However, I've also never encountered pilling in any of my clothes so it may be down to your gait and if it leads to extra pilling.- dygital

Wong has access to alumo, which imo is superior to TM. I don't think Wong offers TM, he usually tells me to get it myself in Central- dygital

How do you wash the polo? Throw it in the wash or do you have to have it dry cleaned? And any idea how it stacks up to the one the armoury offerings? Oh - and does it have a normal shirt collar? Or is it just fabric- dygital

I went to Samuel Chen for my Scabal as well. However, know that they have a very very small selection and they don't have a real book. They just have a selection of fabrics bound together in a plastic flipbook. Price is right though!- dygital

It was a fun experiment but I probably wouldn't do another one. I did it to make a very casual jacket and hoped that it would make a suit more bearable in the summer.
