really, best bet is to check out watchuseek....its a really good forum...lots of info and the people there really know their watches. There are a lot of recommendations there and some lesser known brands, but quality is just top knotch...- doughboyr6

go to www.watchuseek.com i'm in the same boat. And i don't like replicas/fakes....but homage is different. Its generally made with better parts than the stuff on ebay and it doesn't try/pretend to be the real thing (no labels/markings..etc). I did some searching on that forum and many...- doughboyr6

IMO it's not so much the size but how you wear it. Even though in my WAYW posts are reveal the watch, in reality my watch's are always under the cuff in a suit environment & for casual settings it varies on the shirt & sweater combination (as the sweater cuff tends to slim the forearm area)...- doughboyr6

when the diameter of watches are listed on these sites...that excludes the crown and chronograph buttons right? simply the diameter of the face? I really like the jazzmaster, but its 45mm which is huge.- doughboyr6

I have thick ass feet so shoes don't fit...
i'm new to this as well, but i'm guessing high instep has to do with how close the laces start relative to the heel cuz this affects the size of the opening for your foot to get in and therefore at the same time, the height of the shoe.- doughboyr6

I have really thick feet. Not wide, but thick. I guess it is from doing Taekwondo. Anyway, my problem is that I can find shoes that fit length and width-wise, but not enough height-wise if that makes any sense. both stone island and cp company are quality labels. they produce fantastic quality garments. in the past, all cp and stone island used to be made in italy but now its all of the place but mainly romania, italy and tunisia. they have started to produce some items in china but they dont state it...- doughboyr6

i'm visiting California right now and residing near Palm Springs area whch is close to Desert Hills Premium Outlets....nicest outlet mall i've seen. Big name brands... Perfect 9 on Braddock, 8 1/2 W J&M; what size Ferragamo/Alden/AE Will Best Fit Me?
i've run into a problem recently whree i bought a pair of 10D which is what every other pair of my shoes are....but these are really tight across the top of my foot, the width (sole) and length are fine....but i can barely get my foot in...any cure for this?- doughboyr6

Post pictures of a *properly* fitting dress shirt!
i'm curious how a tailor would shorten a shirt length....where would they take out the fabric? i just ordered some brooks brothers luxury and they are HUGE also...just like my Talbott one...the back of the shirt is going down past my butt cheeks- doughboyr6
