I want to start wearing a suit every day
I wear a suit everyday for work, and to be quite frank I enjoy wearing them. That being said, wearing a suit at home does not make sense to me, but that's just me. I rarely am seen with out a collared shirt, but a suit in the house for no occasion is too much for me.- CTLION

As to the question of brand. I don't think brand is all that important. That being said I can afford the italian suits and to be quite frank they fit my frame much better than their American, Canadian and British counterparts. You get used to it. Once your body adjusts you are fine, that being said come summer I don't spend a ton of time outside in a suit. All of my suits are summer wool, my Canali suit is a wool, silk, linen blend.- CTLION

Can't answer the filling the hole question. I wear suits so their is some practicality to purchasing them. I would never say I cherish them, but I do appreciate a nice suit. My buddy just recently purchased a tuxedo from Brooks Brothers on sale for $600. It's the Great Gatsby Style tuxedo. It's on sale on-line. I suggested he go get fitted at the store, then purchase on-line, then be tailored at the store. In the end he is very happy. Hope that helps.- CTLION

I believe there is no problem with wearing a cumberbund with a shawl collared tuxedo. If you are looking for a vest I would highly recommend a u shaped waist coat with or without a shawl collar to match.
