Oscar Isaac's jacket in Life Itself has a cloth fairly similar to PC's Drago Pine Large Glen Plaid Wool and Alpaca Blend

Request for alterations assistance... 33 Contemporary is too large in the waist and seat. These are 32 Contemporary - the waist is perfect. Otherwise, how should these be altered? Take in the seat? Also, thoughts on the pockets (empty in pics)? Thank you in advance.

Probably going to jump on the MTO bandwagon. Glad to see 39" chest as an option. Two questions: Can I add in the notes something like "+0.20 inches on right sleeve"? Will more information be added to the MTO cloths (great selection btw)? I understand you can't take a dozen pictures of each...

3DM Lifestyle: $150 Leather Shoes (A Cheaper Meermin?)

I'll counter some of the opinions here... The Venetian Loafers are easily the shittiest leather shoes I own. The leather is basically plastic and they're extremely uncomfortable. Even at $150, they aren't worth it.

I agree with the measurements part. Do you have another OTR or MTM shirt that you want duplicated? Use that. I provided my own measurements based on another shirt. The first came in tighter than I would have liked, so they remade it per my updated measurements. The fit on the remake is near...

Preference? I think the fine - slightly more versatile. Coarse is great too, but it is very casual.

****. I must have included the collar. Apologies. 38R Neo does measure 29.5"

I think that depends on how short of a jacket you're comfortable with. SM website states the 38S is 1.4" shorter than 38R. Add in the 1" gain for the Neo and a 38S Neo should be 29.1", or 0.4" shorter than the 29.5" Contemporary 38R. I don't have any short jackets, so I'd verify all of this...

I've received 38R Contemporary in both - they're nearly identical. The Neo is 1" longer in the back. I also feel like the Neo has a slightly narrower armhole and arm width, but I may be imagining that. They're at the tailor, so I can't tell you right now. I'm also having the sleeves...

Haha, absolutely no argument there. It's more a question of economics; 1) will my use justify the cost 2) will the jacket/suit justify the space it occupies in my closet.

Ah, Houston is humid as hell during the summer. I would lean towards the Neo Navy Hopsack, but I'd give the Neo Navy Searsucker suit a look as well if it isn't too casual for you; @225gsm it may be the coolest current offering. That said, searsucker isn't a year-round material, hopsack can be...

Are you starting with only the honey linen suit and the med blue VBC fresco? If so, go with the most versatile sports coat/jacket you possibly can - e.g. navy hopsack, Angelico bright navy hopsack, or Angelico navy blazer.
