Well, it depends. I live in Switzerland and during the wintertime it is hard enough to walk around on, on leather soles with a profile. Let alone those slick leather ones- Cesare

Purple label english made shirts
the Purple Label shirts I have seen were around 340 euro's for retail shirts. That's Kiton area.- Cesare

I did like the designs of the Purple Label shirts. However for the prices they charge for their retail shirts I can buy a Borrelli shirt made exactly to my own specifications in the finest cloth and made to measure. And even more important, Borrelli's are better quality shirts than the Purple...- Cesare

I haven't been there, but Loro Piana and Marinella have their stores in Florence I think. That would be definitely worthwhile visiting.- Cesare

That does sound like a great deal, but are those suits new/used? And how do you go about buying in that way. Simply try it on in the store and hope that the suit on Ebay has roughly the same fit?- Cesare

How come no one buys full retail on suits on this forum? Everybody just buys from E-bay or something? I would hate to do that, I'd like to feel a suit and to try it on etc. Where I am from we also don't have to many discounters.- Cesare

That was my impression too, the quality of the suit seems to be a bit better than Corneliani. I look the look better, it seems to me that Canali has a more 'modern' look than most suits. Also I like the fact that nothing is fused. But I was wondering how it stands up versus other 1100 euro...- Cesare
