    I'm 9.5E in Alden's barrie & 9E in Whites Barrie (both shell...so no "stretch" confounder). The suggestion to "size up" for White's seems WAY off. 10E would be way too big for me.

    1) I love cxl. Whites cxl is amazing. The clicking is just superb. I think some folks just find cxl a questionable choice for boots. It's not at all abrasion/scuff resistant.

    I have the Bounty Hunters with lug soles. They're very definitely my "mountain activity boots". I would never wear them in an office setting (even casual). I live in a pretty harsh climate and the 430 is perfectly fine for around-town use.
