I have the same ridge issue with Bourbon McAllister firsts as well. I wore my first pair a few times, not thinking too much about it, but then looking at pictures of other McAllisters on their website and elsewhere, I thought it was a defect and hoped that they could replace it with a pair...- Ah Via
