Can anybody else not stand the shirt/slacks/tie look
Although guilty on numerous occasions of donning this look, I also feel it is "not quite right." I think that wearing a properly fitting shirt and pants help make the look a little less "cell phone salesman in the mall" (not that there's anything wrong with selling cell phones), but...- acadiaspring

I am looking for a versatile blazer that has a pretty slim fit. My chest is 33'' so it has been difficult finding a blazer that isn't a child's and fits well. Narrower lapels would be ideal. OK, I'll bite: why is your apartment so dusty and smelly? And isn't that really more of a pressing concern than whether your suit is breathing? The apartment is old. Which, if either, of these shoes work better with these grey chinos?
I was just busting balls. I would wear the shoes on the right, the left look a bit too plasticky. Also, when you get chinos, try and get ones that you need to hem at a tailor, the ones that come hemmed like that look kind of cheap. Hemming them at a tailor will give them a nicer finish and look...- acadiaspring

can we make suggestions about what to get rid of in this thread? Ummm... sure? You may suggest anything you like. But, I might add that the chinos and both shoes are relatively new. Thus, I would be more inclined to wear them with something else, rather than donate them.- acadiaspring
