    Filson Bag Thread: With Pictures

You'd think there would be more interest in brand new field bags (ok, they are 2015 production), going for $150 but it seems the plaid turns people off. Not sure how wool takes dye, the more intrepid might want to darken the pattern. This is basically the old 240 carry-on which a lot of people...

    Filson Bag Thread: With Pictures

No love for any of the Filson Brooks Brothers signature tartan line? Just picked up a medium field bag on sale at $150 from Brooks Brothers, apply code BC1818. It has a 0615 build date, I guess the market did not really warm up to BBs signature tartan. Would love to see how the wool plaid...

TSA Checkpoint friendly bags that aren't ugly?

Could not remember the name, then I remembered I have the receipt in my pocket. Address is actually 109 Rep. De Ecuador! Antonio Gomez, fine shoes for men. They don't even have a sign out front, lady says they've been there for almost 200 years. My shoe-Fu is weak, so I probably have my terms...

Try Calle Republica de Uruguay for MTO and MTM shoes. There are two shoe makers there amongst all the stores selling Hecho en China imports. I should pick up my two pairs this weekend. Less than $100usd each. Edit: the shop with the shorter last name came highly recommended.

    Randolph Engineering Sunglasses Preferences

As you know, what makes Polarized lenses so great (glare reduction) also makes them a bad choice for motorcycle/bicycle riding as you will no longer be able to see that slick patch up ahead (oil, water, ice). For the same reason they are a great choice around water/watersports as you can...
