FOR SALE: a dozen cuts of cloth ideal for jackets, odd vests or trousers. Some famous names. Yardage and pricing below. Send msg with interest; please tell where you are in the USA or the world for shipping purposes.
Over the past decade, I've collected a great deal of cloth and I'll never use it all. Some is contemporary, some is vintage. I think you will see many beautiful things. The full set:
1. Loro Piana heavy cotton. Olive color. Twill weave. Weight 350 g/m (est) Measures 60"x84" or 2 1/3 y or 2.1m. Style N16545. Cut made in 2014. Comes with LP label. $150.
2. Moss green tweed, twill weave, weight 350g/m (est) cut measures 58" x 45" or 1 1/4 yards or 1.1m narrow width. Nice for a vest. $50.
3. Brown barleycorn tweed. Some text or code is sewn into it with red thread as shown. Peice is 28" x 50" or 1 1/3 y or 1.25m narrow width. Small hole as shown. Nice for a vest. $40.
4. Fawn colored tweed, light brown with elements of blue and pink. About 320g/m (est) 58" x 96" or 2 2/3y or 2.5m. $75.
5. Paul Stuart English camelhair, in a brown and tan herringbone weave. Thick and soft. Attached card says a jacket of this cloth would retail at Paul Stuart for nearly $1400 and this was in the early 'teens. Piece measures 58" x 120" or 3 1/3 yards or 3m. $200. SOLD
6. Large format tweed with blue decoration on gray/black ground, possibly from the 70s. 58" x 70" or nearly 2 yards or 1.75m. $60. SOLD
7. Hunt & Winterbotham jacketing. Selvage ALL WOOL MADE IN ENGLAND. H&W now trades under the names John G Hardy and J&J Minnis, both part of Huddersfield Fine Worsteds (UK) and Gladson/HMS International (USA). Possibly from the 70s. 350g/m (est). 60" x 96" or 2 3/4 yards or 2.5m. $150. SOLD
8. Blue yellow plaid, flannel like. Lighter in weight, good for light jacket or trousers. Measures 46" x 72" or 2 yards or 1.7 meters narrow width. $40. SOLD

9. Plaid wool fabric from M Novack & Sons, Boston Mass. Only record of store I have found is from 1979 but fabric may be older. Neither tweed nor flannel. Fabric is springy with a dry hand. Nice for a jacket. Measures 60" x 78" or 2 1/3 yards or 2m. $100.
10. Brown plaid flannel for jacket, trouser or suit. ~300g/m. Measures 60" x 124" or 3 1/3 yards or 3m. $60. SOLD
11. Red and blue medallion printed cashmere, soft and beautiful. Measures 56" x 102" with small 8" x 28" corner cut out but overall 2 5/6 yards or 2.6m. $200.
12. Boating stripe blazer material woven for Thom Browne in an awning-stripe width. White, gray and blue stripes. Measures 60" x 120" or 3 1/3 yards or 3m. Make a statement! $150.
