  • Epaulet x Styleforum Alpine Loden Collection

Loden wool, woven in Tirol for centuries, is known for its resistance to cold and wetness. Our project in collaboration with Epaulet introduces Alpine Loden, a modern 18oz fabric blend of 75% merino wool and 25% nylon, woven in Italy. It's lighter, more durable, wind-resistant, and more comfortable than traditional Loden fabric. Partnering with Rochester Tailored Clothing, we offer custom garments like sportcoats, suits, and overcoats, made to your specifications. Learn more about the Loden collection here.

*I've placed this on hold because I'm in the middle of a move and career shift. I don't have all my possessions with me right now, and this is one of them. Apologies.

I don't tend to wear patterns, so I've come to accept that this could have a better owner as part of my closet cleaning. This is a very high-end piece.

It's a unique med-heavy soft flannel, brown wool cloth with grey chalk stripes and subtle metallic orange threading (literally, a one thread in width stripe every few inches), as you can see in the close up photos. It's from Harry Rosen: the high end men's clothing store for Canada. I hope you enjoy this piece as I have.

Size: 50R, 32 Waist: follow the measurements. It was fitted for me.
Material: 100% Wool, soft medium weight flannel.
Features: Fully canvassed, surgeon cuffs, double vented, Kiton's shoulders.
Condition: 10/10: Like new, I can't find any signs of wear. That speaks partly to the fabric's durability.

Measurements: (there's extra material all though this piece, but only included what I could determine.)
Pit-to-Pit: 20.5"
Shoulder: 18"
Length: 29", from under collar.
Sleeve: 24"
2.5" of material in the back to let out.

Waist: 16" (32" total)
Rise: ~10"
Inseam from crotch: 28", +3" to let out
Leg Opening: 7.5", +3" to let out as well
