Bought this some years back, worn sparingly and then sat at the back of the closet for years. It’s a really cool suit that makes a big statement.
It’s in a thick, nubby wool from Woolrich Woolen Mills. Feels absolutely awesome on an autumn or winter day. Looks great with nubuck, suede, and pebble leather shoes in black, brown, burgundy.
I had some alterations done to the suit. Shoulders taken in ~1in, jacket shortened by ~1in, pants hemmed to a 28 from 30, sleeves shortened a hair to 24.75in, and pants tapered. Shoulder alterations made the shoulders a bit squarer but didn’t cause me any trouble. I was thinking of having the pads removed which I think should make it quite nice, but never got around to it.
Could use a cleaning, a bit rumpled up and pants crease has disappeared, but it’s otherwise in great shape.
