For sale is a variation on a classic Alden style made exclusively for J Crew.
The shoes are built on a Barry last in size 8-1/2 D.
The style is a longwing blucher in classic snuff suede with Alden's oil leather soles. They have distinctive exposed brass eyelets. Construction is a reverse (storm) welt, for extra resistance to the elements.
The soles show light scuffing from extremely limited wear. Laces are original.
I would love to keep these shoes, but the Barry last will not fit me in my usual size. When I purchased them, I was under the mistaken impression that the last was not Barry.
Price covers shipping within ConUS. Other buyers must arrange shipping charges in advance of purchase. For sale is only shoes, no box, bags, or trees. If requested, I will include complementary shoes bags from Alden, but not the ones obtained from the original sale.
