I think the big realization I had when I went to Japan is the avg vintage/2nd hand shop there leans very heavily to American clothes and I did not go to Japan to look at stuff I could see at random Buffalo exchanges. Tbh I went to check out the Tiffany flagship after they rehauled the building post lvmh buyout and thought most things were tacky but priced to make you think they were classy. Simon is being a bit dishonest in this article when he repeatedly says there is no profit being made once sale hits 20% off msrp. Sadly very true. I feel like all my buys are from slip ups or when the ppl tagging get lazy because the manager isn’t there. My gw definitely sends every high quality art or photo book directly online because my area used to be great for that and I haven’t seen a single one for over 2 years now...- sushijerk

I keep all the loro in my size unless it's way off from my taste. Lp prices are only going up and finding it is only getting harder. I'd rather have a beautiful coat and the memories of the grail find than the cash.- sushijerk
