    Back to whisky. I was hoping for more with the description. Excellent nose, palette lacked the appeal of the nose and was more on bitter chocolate. Oh well, can’t win them all. Edit: went back and tried again today. Much more fruit on the palette this time although the finish was a little dry...

    I’ll just say that Springbank is one where older is not necessarily better. The 10yo and 12yo cask strength are probably the best expressions. They get softer and more rounded as the age increases in the OB lineup.

    When you attach the picture, as you choose the picture there is a “settings” in the lower left corner and you can change the quality from original to large. It worked for me, but occasionally still reverts back.
