Offical TRICKERS shoes and boots thread

I think the photo I posted (taken from Tricker's X account) is of a sample/prototype boot and the mid-sole is leather - if the midsole is made from foam I'm not sure if dubbin would have any effect on the colour. I didn't notice the stitching was so dark but in a different photo from the same...

The red carpet should of been a giveaway! The toe-box looks really wide in the photos, how did you find the fit across the foot? The other thing I notice is the mid-sole looks almost white (in some photos, maybe samples it looks much darker). Is that midsole the exposed EVA foam? I'm guessing...

Looking good Sole Boy. I want a full review and some more pics (maybe lose the red carpet).

Tricker’s have been ambiguous at worst in their marketing of the Corbett. I watched the video and I only noticed one short passage that makes a reference to modern hiking boots: ”The Ledger made me wonder if we could still make a walking boot that would compete with modern mass production and...

Viberg still offer a Hiker which no doubts fall into the City Hiker category - is there a term for this? Like 'style over substance'. https://viberg.uk/products/hiker-gobi-regency-calf

OK. I know nothing about specialist hiking brands, any chance of posting some examples of the brands/which models you would choose to wear?

Would like to see what you consider better hiking boots for less money? I don't mind how they they look although there are details I would change. The triple stitching is a nice touch but I wish Tricker's had made them a wholecut and offered an all black colourway. My nomination for...

Nope for the Office. I thought Pittards has gone out of business? Do they only come in Brown? Price?

As I remember I paid half price for the Edwin/MH jeans - I wore them regularly for around a year and then decided to let them go. They were fine but I didn't love them - probably because the denim was a bit bland. Good question. I wore ROY for many years (while he was still making jeans) and...

I don't remember, did try and look them up on archive.org but couldn't find anything, but the name could have been military related. Canton Jeans: quality of the denim, the way the jeans are cut and finished, the way the front pockets are sewn through, the oversized back pockets. And the same...

Here are the shorts. I sized up to an X - they measure 18.25" flat so basically a 36 in a size X. They use an unusual hook for the closure. I don't remember the style name but I've included the swing tag which shows the style code.

I have not seen them in person. I note that they are made by Canton and I'm not a fan of the Canton jeans - they just happened to be the closest thing to the Indigo Twill shorts I picked up. I will take some photos of the shorts and post them up later - they may have some at Margaret St. They...

I was after a pair of these in Navy and eventually tried a pair on at the Sale Store last year and was hugely disappointed - they just didn't work for me. I ended up picking up some MHL indigo twill shorts from SS23 collection which I was happier with. MHL subsequently released some denim shorts...
