I would never use Costco for jmm frames (I’d use jmm dealers only but would consider an optical shop I trusted). That said, “we don’t work with thick acetate” is maybe one of the weirder excuses as lenses have nothing to do with the thickness of the acetate. If anything, they would be less...- threeleggeddog

Loden shoes - what to wear them with?
About two years ago I bought a pair of Carmina loden officer boots. I’ve barely ever worn them - these have been one of those “nice to look at” purchases. Rover to me is kind of a blah color. You’re right in that it isn’t as bright as it appears under product photography light, but that bottle green with heavy yellow undertones (almost shamrock green) isn’t the most sophisticated color. slate isn’t typical black btw - slate is like a marble black white, but it’s subtle and not obnoxious. A top 5 color for me - I’d get the molino if they were a tad wider- threeleggeddog

Yeah, but with those kind of cateye angles, if the fit isn’t perfect it looks like you are trying on your much smaller girlfriend’s glasses for fun. Perhaps with redefining gender roles it’ll happen someday, but for today, men tend to push the boundary of a uniform, while women can work off a clean, uniformless canvas. That said, I have less of a fashion issue with those glasses as a fit issue. They look way too small.- threeleggeddog
