Friend of mine back home is talking about this. Apparently it's moved on quite a lot since the early days, and can get good results.

TBH if i were 5 years younger, and not in a happy and loving relationship, i might be tempted with it. I dont know though, this sort of thing may on the surface look better, but to me it projects low self esteem, or a superficialness.

That said, you can't argue that the simple aesthetics or a full looking crew cut (which this mimicks), is better than a balding pate.

Looking at the pics i get the impression it looks better on people with a darker complexion. My pal back home is quite pale, whereas as someone on the swarthier end of the European genepool, I think it may benefit more in my instance.

Be interested in people's opinions on it, especially if they know anyone IRL who's had it done. That's the deal breaker for me. If a friend or someone i knew had it, and i could see the results up close & not via flattering online photos, i may be tempted. As things stand, it's interesting, but a little dubious IMHO.
