For dim sum, try Tim Ho Wan - a tiny hole in the wall that is the cheapest Michelin-starred restaurant in the world. The dim sum is excellent, but go early (before 10am) because the lineups can be long to get in.

As for those who asked about Mido, it is a real Hong Kong experience to eat at this place that was in The World of Suzie Wong. The food, however, is just so-so, but what makes it worthwhile is the feeling that this place is the real deal - an authentic HK experience.

Going to be in HK for this weekend.

Read the entire thread and some other sites regarding what to do in HK.

Temple Market vs. Stanley Market? Do they generally have similar things to buy?

I think I'm going to give Mido Cafe a try, read some good things here and from other sources.

Probably check out the art museums in Tsim Sha Tsui area.

Tung Chung Factory outlets? Any advice on this place? Worth it or no?

Might check out the peak area impolyt one speaks about, a nice view of HK is a must for me.

I'm there from Thursday to Sunday, trying to see/do as many things as I can while I'm there, any suggestions appreciated.
