Great work on getting the job. Remember this. You will be around people that have built their wardrobe over many years and will make the same mistakes you will.
I think you are doing great. My only feedback
Keep it simple.
Its amazing how two suits, one navy that you own and a darker grey can get you through everything. Keep your shirts simple. White and blue. The ties are cheaper to get and as long as they are simple you can swap out. I once worked with a guy in a similar situation to you. A year later he confessed the first four months he wore the same suit and only had two shirts one being white the other plain blue. He said he picked up plenty of ties and would interchange them and no one noticed. Someone who started the same time got check shirts and we all knew his blue one was his favourite and would wear it two or three times a week.
Keep it simple. Like shoes, one black pair one plain dark brown Chelsea.
Once comfortable then you can learn what the office is like and what your style is.
