Hello,
I wanted to share some images from my own wedding. I gave my groomsmen a guide on what to wear, which specified ideal, optional / variation / alternative, and "to avoid" items, plus links to a number of source for each article – including options for rent and to buy at different price points. My aim was to keep a cohesive theme but allow people some flexibility in sourcing. In summary:
My own outfit consisted of much the same, with some small deviations:
You can see wider shots below for a sense of the fit etc. It was pretty good, I am very tall & thin (6'3", 145 lbs) so it is always a struggle to achieve proper fit in a suit. My biggest quibble is some looseness in the upper sleeves / back, but the suit was tailored too close to the wedding date to be overly picky about it.
Brands (if that matters) were:
I think it all came together quite well. The grey, white, and black theme is perhaps a tiny bit staid but it is very hard to go wrong, especially with variations as I was not forcing my groomsmen to all use the same vendors. Let me know if you have any questions.

My aim was to keep a cohesive theme but allow people some flexibility in sourcing. In summary:
- mid-grey SB 2B suit, notch or peak lapel
- black oxfords, alternatively derbies
- white french cuff spread collar dress shirt
- B&W houndstooth ties in varying scales/orientations, gifted by me
My own outfit consisted of much the same, with some small deviations:
- White collar, blue & white vertical striped french cuff shirt (self-faced cuffs)
- Ivory double-breasted waistcoat
- Midnight & white houndstooth tie

Brands (if that matters) were:
- Paul Stuart (Phineas Cole) suit
- Proper Cloth shirt
- Sam Hober tie
- Crockett & Jones shoes
