Is this dark navy glen check suit acceptable for both a wedding and job interviews?

That is a beautiful suit. Ring jacket I assume.
From the pic the glen check looks subtle.
In regard to a wedding, it will work well imo.
In regard to work I can't say for certain as I have always worked for myself.
For a job interview the internet says "solid" navy or charcoal.

A dark navy suit is standard for business or social events in town. A blue check, by definition, is country attire.
What do you guys think?
I doubt anyone knows the traditional rules anymore. Besides, the scale of the check is muted and very tasteful.
FWIW, I’m meeting with my tailor tomorrow re my own navy glen check suit. I wanted one for social engagements like weddings, cocktail receptions, etc. Interviews are s infrequent, I wouldn’t worry about it.
The suit looks great. I would approve. Change the tie though.
