Condition
The lining needs repair. The previous owner possibly attempted to remove the shoulder padding and so two **** cuts around the armholes were made. No padding was removed or internal structure was affected the but the lining does need to be resewn (It really doesn’t affect wearability as it is and the lining can be restitched by any local tailor. Mine quoted me $30 as it just needs to be restitched). See the pics. None of the lining is missing but the price does reflect its current condition. AS IS! ALL SALES FINAL

Can anyone tell me if this is authentic? I have never seen a jacket with the writing on the sleeve.

I am a Belstaff fanatic (8 Belstaff jackets in my closet right now. Geez, I need to start selling some), and I have never seen that type of writing on this jacket before. However, the inside lining looks like it is on authentic Hero jackets and the writing on the sleeves is surprisingly similar to the official War of the Worlds font. The giveaway is always the leather though. Does it seem like premium leather, beautifully distressed looking like something that will only get better with age?

Yes, absolutely crafted of premium leather.
I am not sure of the origin of this jacket only because I can't find any information regarding the lettering on the sleeve, but I am certain of it being very high quality all around.
Wonder if it's a special edition of this special edition series.
