It features full canvas construction. Made in Italy to the highest standards. It is tagged a 48R US / 58R EU, but runs small in all dimensions, and fits like a true size 46R US / 48R EU. (Read measurements carefully below. A 24.25 inch chest, a 19.5 inch shoulder, a 31.5 inch jacket length, and a 20.5 inch pants waist all correspond with a size 46R. Returns will not be accepted). The quality of the 100% wool flannel fabric on this suit is superb. It has an incredible soft hand and drapes very nicely. The background color is a rich hue of navy blue. The vertical and horizontal accent stripes are medium blue and grey. Zegna mills its own fabric for its suits. Its fabrics have been called some of the finest in the world. This suit is no exception. It would make an excellent addition to any closet. The MSRP on this suit is about $3500 before tax. So consider this a deal on an amazing suit in a rare size!
