What's wrong with the shoulders on this suit jacket?
This is an unaltered, straight-out-of-the-package light wool suit jacket from J.Crew (36s). The Ludlow jackets usually fit me quite well, but this one has a dimple atop the sleeves. Can Suit Shoulder Width Be Reduced Through Alterations?
Hey guys, I was wondering if a suit jacket shoulder width was a bit too wide on someone, could it be altered and reduced? Let's say, something reasonable like about 1" at most? Most tailors will say no but I think some tailors have done it for others. Does someone know if it's possible?- slick007

Expected turnaround time for alterations from a tailor?
I plan to take in 2 sportscoats to a tailor today. The quote he gave me was 2-3 weeks. I will probably have him do some waist suppression, arm length adjustments and possibly the dreaded shoulder adjustments. Is 2-3 weeks pretty standard for a very reputable tailor?- gumercindo
