Thanks Cosby! cheers.gif

what do you mean by that last bit? BB doesn't brand everything Peal & Co - not the Aldens, those are just tagged Brooks Brothers. FWIW the stamp and lettering style used on that particular pair is not very old.

Not sure if there's any sarcasm in there. My detector is broken. Need to thrift a new one.
Nice haul!

Yeah, the wink.gif at the end... wink.gif

More interesting to me is the lack of interest new members showed - didn't look like anyone even did a search!

I searched for it but couldn't find it. A page number was mentioned, but since different people have different numbers of posts per page (I have 100), that didn't help much.

EDIT: I did find this thread about restoring some thrifted John Lobbs though. Worth checking out.

In other news, does anybody ever find size 12 shoes at thrifts? Every store I go to seems to only go to 11, which is fine or Spinal Tap but not for footwear options.

All the time, actually there is a nice pair of cap toe AE's,b lack at a store by my house, what kind are you looking for?

Two new jackets today that I think my dad will probably keep, but if not possibly available.

3 Button Wool/Cotton unvented Armani Collezioni for Harry Rosen sportcoat with jetted pockets (not even opened yet!). Could anyone school me on where Collezioni fits into the Armani hierarchy?

Brown Herringbone-ish Samuelsohn 2 button sport coat:

Is anyone familiar with this BB label? I am guessing it is older as I have not come across one like it before.

I see that label on pretty much all the BB wash and wear stuff. Not sure of the era, maybe 1980s.

Same here, I see plenty of 12s. This is Milwaukee, so not usually anything better than AE, but let me know what you're looking for and I'll keep my eyes open too.

I had some nice shirts picked out (Brioni, Trywhitt, Talbott) but they must have shrunk because none fit me despite being labeled my size.  Sad day.

Yeah, there is a similar label for the wash/wear collection from a while ago. I usually see it on their older cotton items.

My gawd.

On the down side, B&O is more sizzle than substance--looks great, but you can get a better bang (no pun intended) for your buck if sound quality is the deciding factor. Aesthetics wise, though, I'm not sure that there is a better-looking system on the planet than what you have here.
