My wife really loves me. A lot.

(But yeah, I don't think I'll keep all of it. At the very least the Versace's getting eBayed, but maybe another dozen ties besides.)

Hit 4 stores today to find absolutely nothing. I guess you can't find a brand new Hugo Boss suit for $10 every day. Might hit a couple more tomorrow before the game

Sh*tttttt, from what it sounds like you could sell off half of what you got there, make a profit, and still keep the things you want! Congrats on the find man!

Anyone know anything about Rockshire Velama? Found a very nice overcoat by them today, the rest of the tag says "all wool coating, needled on Savile Row"

It's in pristine condition and probably going up on B&S (tagged 40, 47" chest if anyone wants more info before I list it. No pics yet).

But if anyone knows anything about the brand, let me know. Google turns up all of absolutely nothing, so I ain't holding my breath. But this forum can surprise.

What do you guys think are the best cities for thrifting? In my experience SF is the best in the US. I only think its ahead of NY because, in my experience, anything good in NY will be overpriced. Boston is pretty good too (lots of college students and wealthy liberals giving away good ****).

If you want to sell the herringbone coat let me know. Is it a medium gray color?

Pretty decent haul this morning. Pics up later. Grabbed:

-Ralph Lauren SC, double breasted, unfused with a really sick windowpane (I guess that's what you would call it) pattern. Definitely keeping I think.

-Also grabbed an all linen Albert Goldberg coat, MAde in italy, designed in france. Didn't know much about the designer but I really like the coat so I'm pretty sure I'm keeping it.

-An older RL polo tee shirt

-Some Ferragamo brown pebble shoes (finally a casual shoe that fits me -_-)

-An Armani (from the collection, Made in Italy line), navy blue, double breasted sports coat. Looks NWOT, now i'm considering returning it or selling it as I just bought that Cashmere navy blue Sportscoat and I'm not quite sure I need both, but this wool coat is really nice. Decisions -_-.

-Finally a Canali Sports coat, amazing condition besides one of the buttons looking lose, it's a bit large on me (42R, I'm more of a 40) so I'm taking it into my tailor and seeing if he thinks it will be worth trying to get it retailored or if I should just give it to a roommate / sell.

Passed on a Gucci fused suit, had a stain that would probably come out with a dry cleaning but didn't wanna have to get the pants hemmed (everything else fit perfectly but this guy must've had the widest waist in the world). Also passed on another RL button up coat similar to my double breasted (same pattern), because the sleeves were too short, really pissed actually as I preferred that one to my double breasted one.

I have to do a culling of my ties, anyway. I've got about half of what I bought, plus another thirty or forty ties ready for a big photo shoot day soon. I'm thinking about putting everything on eBay for 9.99 starting with free shipping.

@Mk

L.A., mate. It's taken me a bit of time but I've finally got a rotation down in which I haven't come across something great anytime I've gone out this last week. The best part is I only have to drive around a general 10 or so mile radius, and I haven't even begun digging into some other places I'm pretty sure will have some gems.
