Guys, I've already asked my local homies whose opinions I trust, but I want involvement from the hivemind. Found a stash of H. Huntsman... Orphans. Recent-ish. Pinstriped. A sad but smart pass? Also a smart looking gray wool peak lapel db jacket. Risky flipping right?

I didn't come home empty handed though...

I think Huntsman has enough label-power to make any of their bespoke stuff flippable. I used to watch eBay in hopes of snagging something in my size on the cheap and even orphans were $100+. Henry Poole as well.

Any hope in finding the trousers?

Depends on price. I sold a gray flannel pinstripe Henry Poole orphan with moth holes at a comfortable profit (to a dude in Japan), but was lucky to find it at one of the few shops around here that isn't over priced.

Watching the Superbowl, two finds from TJ Maxx quick pick. The first is a Corneliani sweater member Sea Jen gave me the heads up on last week, and a Jack Spade scarf.
Your patience paid off. Nice.

Nataku- not sure... Tried the whole shop, and today was half off pants so they might have left before I got there.

I felt safe picking this one up, orphan or not. If I thought I could ever lose enough weight to fit in this, I'd save it for myself, but it's not in the cards. This one is going to the 'bay unless someone has some Alden wingtips/longwings/other sweet styles in my size...

Quick picture, more soon. H. Huntsman tag on one side, barneys tag on the other. Working cuffs, dual vent.

Left behind 3 more- A solid charcoal peak lapel DB 6x2, black single breast w/ chalk stripe. navy single breast w/ pinstripe. All working cuffs, dual vent. The double and the one I picked up ran about twice what they were asking for the other two.

Shoved in the pockets of these jackets were little carbon copy receipts from Shearson Lehman Hutton/ Shearson Lehman Brothers, apparently they're corporate car service vouchers.

Also finally picked up a shoe rack for a few bucks, and an interesting jacket from Orvis that was made in Italy.

Aside from the typical stuff I got a hold of this super Pendleton piece.

Circa 50's to early 60's but not sure what to call it. An overshirt or shacket? 3 buttons down front and 3 pockets on front (one at chest and 2 lower)

It fits me perfectly and unlike other older wool, there is no hole to be found! Pristine!

The three buttons down front and one at each sleeve are those folded leather pieces. Soft and comfy wool! Not for sale until next year if ever. Lordie I love my flannel!

Oh, also got a pair of Levi's from 1978 New with tags attached at selling price of $14.00

Mmm, dat Pendleton... Not quite the one I like best, but that's definitely pre-'64!

Made one stop on an extended pre-Super Bowl beer run. Grabbed a couple of BB polos and a BB zip up sweater for myself, then found all of this:

Brooks Brothers tuxedo. Looks pretty recent to me, no signs of wear. Had to tear the store apart to find the matching pants.

Saw this RL logo the other day in the thread, is it any good? Also, 100% cashmere Brooks Brothers sweater, made in Great Britain. Debating about sending that one to the 'bay, it's so freaking warm.

Couple of Charles Tyrwhitts.

Thomas Pink and a Battistoni. Never seen a Battistoni in the wild, and I can't recall whether that's a good pick or not.

John Varvatos. Again, a first for me, hopefully a good pick.

Garrick Anderson. Never heard of it before, but seemed to be decent construction.

Paul Smith London, made in Italy.

Also grabbed a pair of Bally loafers, definitely need some work.

Wow.. I went in both TJ Maxx and Marshalls this weekend and all I could find was PRL from China (and other Chinese made stuff too). Did see one RLPL winter coat "on sale" for only $2000. Not likely.
