Going to Vegas for the first time next weekend for a business conference. The meetings will take place on Fri and Sat. At night I will probably be checking out a club or 2. Im staying at Caesars so most likely Pure? What is the generally approved attire for the day meetings and the night life?

I just came back from Vegas, and went to Pure on Friday night. The standard dress is a buttondown, dark jeans, and shoes, although I did see an American Eagle striped polo shirt, an argyle sweater (in Vegas in August?!), and more Ed Hardy/Affliction shirts than I cared for in the club. Apparently, they'll let in just anyone, including Paris Hilton, who was there.

As for day meetings, a buttondown shirt w/ the sleeves rolled up, tucked into slacks and with loafers/dress shoes should be fine. P.S. Prepare to get alcohol on all your clothes. It's so crowded that you're bound to get something spilled on you. I should be getting some nice vodka fades on my APC NS.

The fam wore Etro, Louis Vuitton, YSL and Dolce.

Pardon me SoCal, but the OP was asking about what type of clothing to bring, not what label to wear.

That being said, it's hot right now. We are still regularly seeing 100 degree weather.

that SoCal response with the labels is classic.

as for Vegas, how I would do a lost weekend there: black silk jacket, shirt and pants.

Only thing they care about is $$$$.

Wear just about whatever you want, just try to have it look clean and pressed.

If going for a bender in Vegas I would dress exactly as I would for a hypothetical trip to Miami: Just like Scott Storch. Don't think the Yohji and Carpe Diem would fly too well in such sun soaked havens of base debauchery. The key words are decadent and gaudy.

LK articulated it better than i in less words.

Basically: "buttercream, buttercream , buttercream..."
