Great Trou/Shoe combo. Socks - meh.
I've yet to find any shoe that is exactly like a G&G. Tough to capture in photo, this particular last. How are they for you so far?
The combo rocks!
Nobody does it better. The socks are lovely and they are the PERFECT choice to bring trou and shoe together.
Today I met again with an intriquing potential client. A young man, half my age, with an intriquing business model, stellar personal presence, perhaps some very interesting opportunities to appear in the media and a rockin' night club sort of project on the horizion. What does one wear for such an unsual occasion? I choose this:
Shoes - Septieme Larguer
Socks - Pantherella
Trou - Panta

I've recently polished these shoes with two coats of bright turquoise cream polish - and it is starting to produce a very interesting result.

(yes - I did pump up the color in the photo a smidge)
Gdot, I have speant quite some time lusting over the shoe selection and unique patina service that Septieme Larguer offer and am very close to pulling the trigger. Did you order yours through their website? If so, how did you find the service? Were they easy to communicate with? Looking at these shoes it looks as though you took advantage of their 'patina' service as well? Would you ever buy from them again? I live in Australia so any commitment that I make needs to be with a 100% certainty. Any advice you can offer would be very helpful.

100% certainty doesn't exist.
