Looks ridiculous bordering on stupid IRL. Heard that collar called Mollino, Safari, etc. Like most fencing style necks, looks great zipped, dumb unzipped. Best I've seen it worn is Pusha T and it still looks bad. (0). Bonus appearance for TB shirt and sweats, and what I'm told is a Rick MA-1.

Assuming the link didn't work,
Whatever brand the brown one is, it looks horrible.

It's the Mollino. It looks fine unzipped, nothing like a fencing.

I've tried the combo in person. Honestly, it's what you would think it looks like based on the picture. In my opinion, it might be cool if it was suppppper cheap, but if you're going to spend that kind of cash on a leather, I'd want a normal black leather, not some bizarre mashup jacket.

I own a black kangaroo mollino and love it.

Margiela 5-zip.. never been a big fan but maybe it was just all the awful pics on Yoox. Looks pretty good here IMO.

That jacket looks like a pretty generic moto that you can find anywhere. If you want a quality one, try TOJ.
As for hooded leather jackets.. here are a couple I think are kinda nice (and way too expensive). Although they are more akin to leather hoodies than jackets IMO

(japanese brand "wjk")

(japanese brand "az")

I don't really go out and spend hours searching for clothes. I just hit up certain malls/plazas/outlets once in awhile and I've never seen something as perfect as the jacket I posted. Do you have any suggestions as to what specific stores might carry it? I don't buy clothes without wearing them first so that narrows down my selection.

And those hooded jackets you posted look like they have leather hoods and look like part of the jacket. The ones I'm talking about look like yo're wearing a cotton jacket underneath. Just look at the picture I posted.

Sorry if I'm confusing lol. I suck at shopping if you couldn't tell already.

I used to own the non-hooded version, fit too long in the body for me. I like my jackets cropped, this one bunched up at my hips if I zipped it, thighs were too fat for it. Would look great if you're tall and skinny, like above six foot. Leather was the best I've seen, though, guidi baby calf

I am located in SoCal, more specifically OC. I live near Disneyland. The closest 'high end' place I can go to is South Coast Plaza.

Probably gone by now, not because they sold, but they have to switch stock to make space and the stuff goes missing forever basically. There was a $150 Sutor craze at the same placea few years ago, they don't do well with stocking obscure import brands.

Plus, I live in Tokyo now and the real WJK store is closer.
