I purchased 3 shirts from them, flannels, that were on sale. The fed ex customs charge was like $95. The guys at the shop were super helpful and apologetic about it, but it sucked. Just my experience, not sure how much it would be on the jacket. If you do decide to get the jacket, maybe try and do it through email and ask them to use royal post instead of fedex.

Ahh good call. I've bought stuff before that has been shipped royal post and didn't have to pay a fee. Thanks for the tip.

yep. fedex also didn't let me know there was going to be a charge when I signed for the stuff, they just sent me a bill after the fact. only other time i had to pay customs was to UPS for a pair of common projects from caliroots, but they let me know at the time I accepted the package, and the fee was only $20 or something.

Right on. I've had the same happen to me. Ordered something from Germany a few years ago which they shipped via Fedex. I then got a customs bill in the mail for like $75 and was so pissed.

Cool, I knew it looked familiar. I've heard Makr makes great bags. I would kop but I'm saving up for a Filson 257. :)
